Blaauw's Pink, a Karume Hybrid Azalea, is one of the most floriferous and appealing of the evergreen azaleas. It produces an enormous burst of soft salmon-pink hose flowers in the spring that almost completely cover the lovely dark green leaves. A sprinkling pink may be seen on the highest petals of each flower. The flowers are tiny (only 1-1.5 inches), but their overwhelming quantity more than makes up for their diminutive size.
