Shawnee Brave Bald Cypress is a cultivar of bald cypress that is more narrow, grows a strong leader and denser foliage than the straight species which makes it perfect for urban conditions. It is best grown in average, medium-wet moisture retentive soils in full sun. It prefers moist, acidic, sandy loams but tolerates a wide range of soil conditions ranging from average to wet soils. It also tolerates deer, erosion, clay soil and air pollution.
