The beautiful semi-double flowers of the Camellia japonica 'Apple Blossom' are 3–4 inches (7–10 cm) wide and resemble apple blossoms. The borders of the petals are blush-pink, and they gradually fade towards the center of the flower, where a striking heart surrounded by golden stamens may be seen. Little, glossy green leaves make up the dense, evergreen foliage, which is also extremely lovely.
