Hosta 'Royal Standard' is a huge Hosta that is vigorous and quick-growing. It has 9 in. (22 cm) long, heart-shaped, satiny, slightly dimpled, bright green leaves. The funnel-shaped waxy white flowers on scapes 42 in. long (105 cm) are far more numerous than those of its progenitor, Hosta plantaginea, and open from lavender-tinted buds in late summer to fall.
