Mahonia × media ‘Winter Sun’

Tall, stunning evergreen, can be kept smaller but can grow to 10' x 7'. Dark green leaves extend in whorls from the stem. Yellow flowers that bloom in abundance in an upright inflorescence in the late fall and early winter are more fragrant than close cousins. There are black berries by the fall.
