Tall, clump-forming Andes Silver Pampas Grass is cultivated for its thick, arching, grey-green foliage and enormous, fluffy plumes. In the late summer and into the fall, the tall, upright stems that bear the silvery-white plumes grow. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. accepts drought after becoming established. Planting near walking areas is not recommended due to the extremely sharp leaf blade edges.
