The U.S. National Arboretum introduced Sun Valley Red Maple, which has dependable rich red color in the fall. It is fully seedless and has an oval head that is uniformly dense since it is a cross between a Red Sunset Maple and an Autumn Flame Maple. Wherever its shade and beauty are most appreciated should be where Sun Valley Red Maples are planted. Due to its size, it should be planted at least 15 feet away from structures so that it has enough space to cast a lovely shadow.
