This excellent salvia boasts sturdy, compact plants with bright purple blooms. Its flexible branches resist wind damage and attract hummingbirds. Like other salvias, it's easy to grow, heat-tolerant, and drought-resistant once established. Blooming from spring to fall, it's about 24" tall and wide, and more cold-hardy than some other varieties. It's a perennial fit for zones 6-11.
